After that, we made our way to the Charles Bridge, where we were presented a lovely view of the river and the castle on the hill side.
It was then unanimously decided that we needed some food, so we each bought a sausage and roll as that seemed the traditional lunch. From there we attempted to find the Lennon wall, but to no avail, instead stumbling into a quite remarkable park. After scaling the hillside, it presented breathtaking views of the city.
Continued strolling through the park, then eventually entered the city again in a new area, equally stunning as the rest of the city. We wondered back to main square, with the sun in a perfect position to bathe all the buildings in golden light.
From there we made our way back to the hostel for a bite to eat and a dip in the pool. On the way back, it was interesting how the city took on a very communistic look quickly after leaving old town. Otter was feeling a bit ill so he called it a night while Adam and I headed out to see Prague at night, and let me tell you, it is a whole different animal. Where earlier had been street vendors and performers we now people soliciting bars and different drugs. We obviously avoided that, and while it sounds sketchy it's actually quite safe and is interesting to see the two faces of Prague. We were worn out from a long day so made our way back to the hostel for a sound night of sleep.
