Prague oct 7

We managed to get out of bed a bit earlier today, excited to continue roaming around the city. We were able to determine where the Lennon wall was, thanks to the hostel desk, and decided that would be our first stop of the day. The wall was painted on during the end of communism here, taking John Lennon of the Beatles to be their symbol, hence the name. It was very cool, covered in many inspiring quotes, as well as some Beatle quotes, obviously.

We then made our way back to the square for a free tour of the city, and following our tradition we were a bit late. Lucky for us, the had not left, so we joined in on a very interesting and informative tour. It covered everything from aritecture, the development of the country, all the different overtaking of rule, communism, nazi rule, and the current state of affairs. We all very much enjoyed it and were able to see more of the city.

That night we decided to go out and sample a few of the local bars, as this was the traditional Czech evening. We judged we couldn't stay up much longer after a while and promptly fell asleep upon arriving at the hostel.

- living the dream!
