After some wandering around we boarded our bus to Germany. Lost in the stories in our books or sleeping the time away we had a moment of panic when looking out of the bus window revealed we were on a boat.
Upon asking around we discovered it was just a ferry and the destination was still Germany.
The bus ride remained interesting as we were yelled at by an old lady for leaning our sear back. She spoke german so we never learned what we did wrong but she eventually stopped when jake moved his seat up. After arriving we met up with our friend Lena and headed off to her house where we plan on staying the next few days. The family treated us with an amazing dinner before we went to bed for the night. After a great nights sleep we headed to the main street in Freising, the town we were staying in about a 30 minute train ride from Munich. After walking around we headed into Munich to walk around Oktoberfest and sample the local beers.
We returned to Lena's and were again treated to amazing food. Talking, time flew by before we all fell asleep. The next morning we got some groceries, watches, and anything else we needed from the local stores. From the night before we had learned that in order to get a table at Oktoberfest you have to get there early. So we left around 1 and had an amazing spot in one of the tents.
The night was simply amazing, meeting new friends, walking around sampling German food and drinking German beer. On our way home we finally broke down and bought fast food at the McDonald's at the train station and with a full stomach, fell asleep once we arrived home. It was time to earn our keep, once we woke up work began on scraping the paint and wallpaper off the wall in their office. It is currently a work in progress. On Wednesday there was a market downtown so we went and walked around where Jake bought a Ukulele at the local music shop.

I'm really enjoying the posts, it sure sounds like you all are having a good time. I like the new route to Moscow through Prague and the Baltic States! Good idea. Is this where you guys separate from each other?
